Once we have carefully designed your fine line tattoo and professionally executed the tattooing, we want to ensure that you have the knowledge to properly care for your new art piece. We recommend that you do not swim or overexpose your skin to the sun in the first few weeks while your fine line tattoo is healing, and this includes sunbeds.

We use a medical bandage (Fixomull) that will cover and protect your new tattoo so it can begin healing. Fixomull woven bandages are not only flexible, but they are also comfortable and only permeable to water vapour. This allows your new fine line tattoo to breathe and perspire while protecting it from friction and infection during the crucial early stages of healing.

After you remove the bandage, you will need an anti-bacterial soap for washing your tattoo and moisturizer to apply around the area. The Fixomull woven bandage will remain on your tattoo for seven days during the healing process. You can and should continue to wash over the Fixomull bandage during those seven days, taking care not to remove the bandage.
